Out of School Clubs

Our Out of School Clubs welcome children from full time education up to 11 years of age. We operate Breakfast, After School and Holiday Clubs. We drop off and collect from Hadleigh and West Leigh Schools. We are committed to promoting the well-being and development of your children in a stimulating yet relaxed environment. We appreciate that school is very taxing and do our utmost to make all after school activities fun and informal. We offer a wide range of equipment and resources via the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, indoors and outdoors enjoying art, craft and messy activities, role play, computers and our gym area. We also have areas to relax and have quiet time. Children are able to complete homework if necessary and internet linked computers and our book area are available. Our garden provides much scope for play, such as the sand field, allotments, wheeled toy area and large lawn for many outdoor games. In addition to the above, children coming to us during the school holidays also enjoy many trips out which are all included in the price. Trips include swimming, visits to the library, cinema, fire, ambulance and police stations, and picnics at the beach, park and woods etc We encourage independence, this is rolemodelled in many ways

  • The children have a hand in the planning of activities
  • They have a choice of meals and can help themselves
  • They choose how they wish to spend their time and with whom
  • At times they help prepare tea
  • Interaction with the younger children is encouraged

Children foster lasting friendships through our clubs, often sharing many new found hobbies and interests. We endeavor to be as flexible as possible and treat all children as individuals and value their views. We work hard to ensure that every day will be a memorable one.

Ofsted Report 2013 There are extremely reliable arrangements for taking and collecting the children attending the out of school club, to and from school.
