Enrolment Procedure

Prior to Enrolment we encourage you to come and visit our setting.  We do have an open door policy although to allow sufficient time to show you around and answer your questions, we would advise you to email or call to make an appointment.

Enrolment and Entry for Members (those who do not access government funding or who access services outside the funding criteria)

Once you have decided that you would like your child to join Sandcastles Nursery or Out of School Club, the following procedure will be followed:

You will be given an Enrolment form and theTerms and Conditions.  Once the Enrolment form is returned, fully completed, together with the enrolment fee, you will be placed on our waiting list.  For places within our Starfish Suite and Seahorse room, an additional deposit is required at this stage.  This deposit will be held on your account and will be credited to families when your child no longer requires a place at Sandcastles on condition that there are no outstanding monies owing on your account.

When a place becomes available, you will receive an offer letter and the Acceptance form via email or letter.  At this stage, in order to accept the place, you will need to return the Acceptance form and the signed Terms and Conditions along with the Membership Fee.  The deposit will become non-refundable if, after the offer of a place has been accepted, the agreed booking is not taken up or the agreed date of entry is delayed.

Confirmation of receipt of the above will be sent to you along with details of the settling-in sessions and passwords needed for access to various facilities.

Enrolment and Entry for Non-Members (those that do not take up services that generate an invoice and having read our membership information, do not choose to join).

Once you have decided that you would like your child to attend Sandcastles Nursery and have confirmed that there is a place available, the following procedure will be followed:

You will be given an Enrolment form which will need to be fully completed and returned.  You will also be given the Terms and Conditions to read, sign and return.

You will be contacted to confirm the start date.  You will be invited to stay for a session during the first week to go through our induction procedure.
